Geneva is a charming city in French Switzerland. It is a rather small town (180.000 inhabitants). It shelters the head office of many large world organizations, such united Nation in Europe head office, WTO and the International Labour Organization head office and many others.
It is a very old city: Julius Caesar in 58 BC mentions his travels there.
Geneva is a very green city; it boasts many natural reserves one of which is the Botanical gardens which offers to the public a variety of rare and common plants.
You can also see the famous Geneva water-jet which is 140 m high.
The city has also many museums of which one of the most interesting to see is the Red Cross museum with its strange stone statues in its entry. One can also see the history of sciences Museum the Ariana Museum and many others.

So if you plan to go there I advice you to go at the Citadine Galliard hotel
